Systemic Mediation

Systemic mediation offers a reflective, non-adversarial space for individuals, couples, and families navigating conflict, separation, or significant life transitions,  particularly where legal processes or court involvement are being considered or are already underway.

Rooted in systemic and relational thinking, this approach looks beyond surface-level disagreements to explore the broader emotional context, relational patterns, and histories that shape conflict. It provides a supportive alternative to more formal processes, helping people feel heard, understood, and able to move forward with clarity and respect.

I work with co-parents, separating or divorcing couples, intergenerational family members, and professionals involved in multi-agency support. Together, we explore roles, expectations, parenting decisions, and emotional needs,  always with care, cultural sensitivity, and an understanding of the impact of stress, trauma, and change.

Systemic mediation is particularly helpful in complex or emotionally charged situations involving family breakdown, care arrangements, cultural pressures, or communication challenges. Sessions focus not on taking sides or assigning blame, but on building shared understanding, reducing conflict, and supporting more constructive communication — whether to rebuild a relationship or separate with care.

This process can also complement legal or safeguarding frameworks by attending to the emotional and relational needs of everyone involved.

My practice is trauma-informed, inclusive, and responsive to your unique context. I work flexibly depending on what’s needed,  whether that’s brief, focused mediation, longer-term support, or preparation for court-related processes.  I’m experienced in working with adults, young people, and whole families.
