Group Reflective Practice
I facilitate reflective practice groups for professionals and teams working across mental health, social care, education, healthcare, and third sector settings. These sessions provide a structured space to pause, connect, and reflect — making sense of the work and the systems you’re part of.
Reflective practice is particularly valuable in high-pressure environments, where practitioners are often holding trauma, emotional labour, and ethical complexity. My approach is systemic and trauma-informed, supporting teams to explore relational dynamics, organisational culture, power, responsibility, and the emotional impact of their roles.
These sessions help strengthen team cohesion, improve communication, and foster shared insight. They also create space to examine how wider systemic forces — including unconscious processes, cultural norms, and structural inequalities, influence practice.
Whether you’re a clinical team, multi-agency group, school staff, or leadership team, reflective practice can support a more resilient, compassionate, and thoughtful working culture.
Whether it’s processing the emotional impact of mental health work, exploring team dynamics, or making sense of complexities, reflective practice encourages deeper understanding, shared insight, and relational thinking. The aim is to strengthen professional resilience, enhance communication, and support a more connected and thoughtful approach to practice—ultimately benefiting the teams, individuals, and the communities they serve.
